| Summary:
|
To be EXTRAORDINARY is to go far beyond the ordinary degree, measure or limit. Often this requires some level of discomfort, even courage, to stretch out of one's comfort zone into uncharted territory full of exciting new possibilities. Challenging ourselves to tap into the potential within also opens the door to more authentic expression, self fulfillment and confidence. As an academic coach and trainer, I'm here to guide others on this journey. I can't imagine anything more rewarding than this!

|
Director, Center for Problem-Based Learning at Samford University
August 2000 - January 2002
Problem-Based Learning occurs in a small group setting of 5-8 students & a teacher who facilitates an inquiry-based, learner-centered discussion. Students then engage in self-directed learning to investigate what they don't yet know. The curriculum is based on real-life situations rather than subjects from traditional disciplines. It's fun for students & teachers alike.
