Mattie Rock President of Rock Networking Unlimited Mattie Rock is the owner of Rock Networking Unlimited, Inc. (RNU) and the Queen of networking! A buzz machine in her own respect, she keeps her ear to the ground as many count on her for the 411 around town. Everyone wants to know what going on around the networking block. Mattie Rock loves to negotiate; she’s confident, has the gift and voice to unite and brings people together. She takes your information and run. She is the VOICE of Rock’s Networking Unlimited, Inc. backed by the RUN Power Team of 6 dynamic experience professionals. Mattie would say, “I guess I could have a PHD; however I opted for a GOD, which has led me on a business journey.” Born in Uniontown Alabama raised in Birmingham, AL Mattie came on a venture to Atlanta, GA in 1986 after learning about the many opportunities there. Mattie has a thirst for knowledge and she has a genuine love for people with a strong passion for meeting and talking with business owners. With little knowledge of running a business Mattie learned a lot of things the hard way. She opened a business starting with used clothes, pots and pans from the trunk of her car. But that was not good enough she decided to step out and open a Boutique. Things went well, however without knowledge of finding good staffing business was at a standstill. She still worked a full time job, managed 2 businesses, friends and family life. She established multiple boutiques in GA with a plan and very little start up. Over the years Mattie has had the experiencing working with many people with bad business practices and little skills or experiences. Guess what? She flipped the script and offered yet a better plan. Rock’s Networking Unlimited, Inc. Helping everyone along the way, she was known for talking to everyone not just about her business, but offered information for anyone that offered a good service. Because of her concern about the many referral requests she received from people looking for quality services, she decided to host a Networking Event. She chooses close associates to assist her in the planning, asked business owners to do presentations on their businesses and provide entertainment and decided what would be fun attire and that’s how Rock’s Networking Unlimited was born. The first event was good and took off by word of mouth. By the next event came around, there was standing room only. Mattie stayed motivated and inspired and gave business owners the motivation that they can do anything they set out to do. You have to believe it to achieve it! Every event has a different flavor, attire, presentation and a twist of fun while you learn. Mattie still has the boutique and the job, and has a plan to do the boutique on a personal shopping level. Full of energy and whit and ready to keep you motivated, inspired and making the NET-WORK. Today Mattie Rock and the RNU POWER TEAM are stepping up to another level with the needed services offered Rock’s Networking Unlimited, Inc. Mattie Rock is the Queen of Networking and has produced her own TV Show Gimmie Back My Mic. Since Rock’s days as a fashion boutique owner, she has been organizing and hosting standing room only events that offer networking, food, entertainment and fun for owners of start up, small, medium and large businesses. Ranolo Weaver, “The Video Bishop” host of The Video Bishop Gospel Show and owner of Techno Media Films, LLC, known for producing the ability for you to walk on your website, recently launched a television show called “RNU & Mattie Rock Too Gimmie Back My Mic,” which provides opportunities for creative artists and business owners to showcase and promote their talents, products and services within a 3-5 minute time period. The second part of the show offers businesses the opportunity to present a one minute presentation about their business or they have to give back mic. The show is designed to give confidents to business owners to present and compete. The show in place to inspires one to say I can do that!, The business educate the public on their business or service offering . The show is not scripted it is to provide education, valuable information and it’s just funny.
