Everyone knows that there are a host of open jobs positions out there. Every day laid off people hear about these openings from friends, colleagues and family. Most of the time those positions aren't 'the right fit', and not even worth applying for. If only there was a way to share these opportunities with others who might be 'the right fit'...

We are a small group of sponsors addressing this monumental social issue: Helping the laid off find jobs already available in the American economy. Specifically, our precise mission is to help 100 people find a job in ONE DAY.

Daunting? Perhaps.

Impossible? We don't believe in letting the impossible stop us.

Over one 24 hour period we are holding events targeting cities around the country to generate conversations that let people who are laid off share opportunites with each other. As an added bonus some people will be connected with employers or recruiters who have open positions just right for them.
